Pam Appleton College Counseling

Pam loves supporting and working with students as they navigate the transition for high school to college. She began her career as an admission officer for Wellesley College before being appointed to the faculty at Phillips Exeter Academy where she worked for many years as an Associate Director of College Counseling. During her time at Exeter, she was honored to have been awarded Phillips Exeter’s Rupert Radford Faculty Fellowship Prize. One of her most meaningful achievements was being awarded a National Association of College Admission Counseling National Imagine Grant for her efforts bringing awareness and support to children experiencing grief. Since starting her college counseling practice in 2020, Pam is guiding by providing compassionate support and expert college guidance to all students as they pursue their college aspirations. She holds a B.A. from the University of New Hampshire and an M.Ed. from Boston College. In her free time, Pam enjoys traveling, and hosting her running podcast "50 State Finish Lines: Why Have Just One."
