Brooke has been an educator her whole adult life -- as a teacher, administrator, professor, and mother. Guiding students to college and other post-secondary paths has been her passion over the past two decades. She loves helping students see and shape their stories!

For Brooke, counseling is about uncovering the story that each student has to tell. Many students worry they don’t have anything significant to share, but everyone has a story worth telling. Together, we reflect on their experiences, interests, and values to create an authentic and meaningful application. Her goal is to make students feel proud of their journey—long before they receive acceptance letters. She also helps them find joy in the process, especially when writing feels overwhelming, by breaking the work into manageable steps.

Advice: In college, I wish I'd started going to office hours in my first year -- it was only later that I came to understand the power of building relationships with my profs.
